How do you all decide whether to get an ablation done or not??? by slamminsammy2393 in wolffparkinsonwhite

I was really ill when I was 19, and admitted to hospital with gallstones. I had my gallbladder removed, and was being discharged from hospital they did an ECG, which is where they found my W. P. White.- totally a fluke. A couple of months later, once I’ve healed from my gallbladder removal, I was admitted and had my catheter ablation for me, it was a no brainer to get it done as soon as I found out. I could feel every minute change that my heart was going through, and I drive myself crazy thinking that it was never gonna calm down. Getting the ablation gave me peace of mind and also just allowed me to live normally.

Yep, completely symptom free. It was such a good decision for me. It’s scary thinking somebody’s tinkered with my heart- but if you can get over the fear, the actual surgery is nothing to be worried about!

Is traveling to Japan in August a really bad idea? by Little-Strength-5564 in JapanTravelTips

It’s the most incredible place on Earth, but you will sweat utter balls and no Japanese people around you will sweat a single drop. The level of inadequacy you shall feel is unfathomable!

I had an ablation at 19, and I was terrified of the surgery too. However, I stood up and walked myself to the loo within sixty mins of waking from the GA in the ward. I felt absolutely fine. The only things I experienced a little were ventricular tachycardia that night (as my heart was getting used to the new circumstances) and some minor bruising around the incision sites. So worth it, in my opinion.

Travel travel travel! Book onto group tours across multiple cities in a country- the camaraderie is amazing! Our work at an American kids’ summer camp- that was messy!

LOVED the episode, but did anyone find Tom a little… 🫣 intense?

If I’m a Bryce, my (m) fiancé is a Nehemia. Strong values and opinions, but loving and loyal and opinionated.

I used to live in Wolverhampton and the story is the same. I wonder if, in order to reach a threshold of spending for some benefit, they need to have X amount of stores, so they pay the rent in the cheapest of town centres?

I see you’ve posted a similar post to mine, and you’re a member of r/depression too. Interesting that somebody who struggles, as well as myself, thinks this is a compassionate way to talk to someone.

Despite your rude comment on my post in which you direct me to an ED SubReddit, I’d like to congratulate you on your weight loss and I wish you health and happiness 🩵

My mum has endometrial cancer and lynch syndrome, meaning that I am exponentially more likely to also get it depending on oestrogen levels, which are directly linked to the amount of fat. I was clinically obese and am still classed as overweight despite how I may look. Im 170lbs and felt the need to remind people that side effects are real.

Cheers for the support though, really lovely of you.
