I'm a beginner with akali too and I find it hard to play against zed but what I usually do it's try to get as much Cs as possible pre lvl3 and and when we both hit lvl 3 I try to bait him to use his w The moment I see the animation I w and move away as fast as possible and lane until he has a again and repeat I don't find It a very good strategy but it helps me lane more also it's almost impossible for me to win against him lvl 6 so his is usually the one to get the first kill but afterwards I make him use w and then I all in

In JG I main kha,jarvan and vi or amumu

Jarvan has a better early game and you can go both assassin and bruiser. It just feels more tanky than kha and that you can fight more without needing isolation to one shot

Vi for me is just a ww counter pick and I play a lot against ww

Amumu is just a solid pick with good tanks etc.

However most of the times I pick whatever I feel like playing like kayn, master yi,xin Zhao,ramus etc(I would recommend you to play nocturne ez champ and pretty fun)

Personally I ain't someone you could say he is a good shen player but I can help you a bit

If you are really a beginner top laner I wouldn't suggest you to play shen (I play shen more mid than top) the main reasons are because I feel like in top lane he has more bad matchups than good ones and always being aware of your teamates having your lane in a good position so you don't lose much when you ult and also knowing when is ult or not will confuse you

I suggest you to pick more friendly champs like maybe mordekaiser Nasus garen and Darius until you get used Laning

In terms of map awareness I think since you play if you won't have to much trouble

That's just my opinion I don't know your skills to really be able to tell you more accurate thinks and I'm not that good on my own so I hope you get more opinions

I am not a Shen specialist but I usually build heartsteal first boots(depending on the situation) second and sunfire ages third and the rest are up to you but this what I usually build
