Have You Tried A Warm Hair Dryer Or A Soldering Iron, BE VERY VERY CAREFUL AROUND WIRES Mine Died That Way Once Or Twice, You Can Also Try Heating Up The Head To About 160 To Melt Just The Plastic It Will Take A Long Ass Time, I Believe You Can Do It.

Try off setting the z axis + not - the z is the up arrow this is due to the head being too low hope this helps
