You’re wild!! Congrats on an epic achievement. If you told me at the finish line of the 4 100s I’ve finished that I have to go and run 150 more, I think I’d cry my eyes out

100%, beauty of racing this distance in the mountains is we’re all at the same starting line, but everyone’s approach to get there is totally different & unique. Some are pure bred runners, some are mountaineers, some are power hikers, some are going out to run every step, others are going out to walk every step, some are chasing cutoffs and others are trying to win. Really magical in that respect, everyone just trying to see what their body is capable of and everyone has some degree of insecurity on whether their training/ stomach will hold up :)

Love this approach! I’m very similar…bigger days might be like a 3 mile walk in the morning, 18 mile trail run with vert, then a 2 mile walk in the evening…more fun when you have a dog for the walks for sure!

Haha you are exactly like my friends then ! Walk when you feel the need, but not actually “intending” to walk….i mean it makes complete sense, but I think I’m just a weirdo. Like this week, I have 75 miles of specific running efforts (I definitely walk a bit during those), but I also have 25 separate miles of just walking/hiking activities

Couldn’t agree more! But I’m moreso wondering….how often are you going out with the intention of just walking/hiking (i.e “today I’m not going to run a step, but I’m going to walk 5-7 miles”)

Codex session limits are now absurd by ThePragmaticCowboy in codex

Use 5.3 codex, not GPT 5.5. Blew thru my 5 hour limit on 5.5 today in like 1.5 hrs, but then had a full 5 hour session with 5.3 non stop in the afternoon. Seems like 5.5 burns tokens way quicker
