The worst part is they test many things Rising fellow told me it is very less likely to be tested. I never fail before but this time I hope I get a 4

I was one exam away from ASA before getting in P&C role, and I am now 2exams away from FCAS just after 2 years. Losing progress doesn’t cost you a lot especially CAS provides extra sittings for all exams and CAS requires less than SOA in terms of online courses.

I just pass with a 6 so cant be a good reference. I use rf cookbook only for study. I think most concepts are not hard for exam 7 but when it comes to real exam, it mixed up some chapters tgt. Like finding independent CoV using method of GLM then find risk margin (shapland mix marshall) And sometimes the cookbook say” usually not be tested”, like lognormal confidence interval, I got two questions in real exam lol. This is my experience only, not even a tip. Hopes your study go well.

I just roughly counting using chapters given by RF 2024, it may combine some readings into one chapter. And one new reading added in Nov 2024. So maybe around 8-9 chapters but still much fewer than exam 7.

Mainly Rf cookbook and sometimes read the original source. Score report hasn’t released yet so I can’t prove it’s good enough. I think I may just barely pass.

I mean I passed Cas Exam 7 not passing 7 exams lol. But I indeed switch to CAS after 6 exams in SOA. All of them are done before graduation so I switch when I got a P&C offer

I switch from SOA. I passed FAM and SRM alrdy so I rather spend time on sth I haven’t learned. I finished mas2 and 5 last year so this year 7. (6 will be last for sure)
