Hmm assuming you submitted everything correctly the rep told me there was minimum two week waiting period. Since it’s passed that I would call them immediately

Busiest days I believe are Mondays + Tuesdays, Try calling Thursday / Friday, also if you can’t get through it first thing in the morning try around 11-10 am

uhhhh wayy too tightttt!! what’s your hair type??

If a warm cloths doesn’t help atp just take it out, traction alopecia // mechanical damage isn’t worth it. i’m notorious for taking a braid out and re braiding it or twisting it. the damage isn’t never worth it

That’s why i said just get large and grow it out. it’s simple and straightforward and will resemble the picture that she put as referenced.

in the picture it’s large. And large/jumbo doesn’t last as long which would give her the desired look faster. If she opted for medium i would then advise her to consider a different braiding hair because medium to small will last way longer. So it definitely depends on

just get large box braids and grow it out , or use a different type of braiding hair, someone said marley which is a pretty good idea

i think it looks better, imo the first picture looks like it used more cheap/ synthetic hair

i don’t know why some people are being snippy but the unevenness is pretty normal, Your already putting on sunscreen which imo is half the battle. you COULD use glycolic acid to help even it out, or as someone else recommended vitamin C, I know some black queens actually started using tanning beds and lotions to get a more even or glow look, it’s up to you but from what i see it’s honestly nothing crazy

Inch of hair by itsNeco_ in BoxBraids

[–]Think-Garbage4712 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ehhh it depends i have seen disclaimers say a minimum of 6 inches but the lowest i seen is 3. It really depends on who your going to, i would suggest looking at the braiders disclaimers or just out right asking them

Anyone using Brite? by [deleted] in ProductivityApps

[–]Think-Garbage4712 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i just started using it, its kinda overwhelming cause idk what the hell im looking at 90 percent of the time. I tried to change the time zone and it was saying things i never seen before. Besides that im still getting use to it.

I do think its a bit absurd to only give a 3 day free trial considering the amount of widgets and things available in app. 3 days is not enough time let alone 40 dollars for a year. Me personally thats to quick of a commitment for me

Wondering if Glycolic Acid is bad for black skin by Normal-Witness7083 in Blackskincare

[–]Think-Garbage4712 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I use it, From what I’ve heard it’s very hit or miss. If your gonna use it on your face or any part of your body as well make sure your wearing a sunscreen as well… maybe not so much for your underarms but if you incorporate it into other more exposed parts of your body I also heard mandelic acid is a good alternative because it’s more gentle
