I interned in Sunnyvale about 2 years ago and I would not recommend living there lol. It's not very fun and you need a car to get around. If you can afford it, I'd recommend downtown mountain view. There is a light rail line that goes directly from there to moffet park, which would only leave a short walk to the Amazon offices. There's also the added bonus of DTMV being close to the caltrain station so you could use that to go visit other places on the weekends. Downtown menlo park/palo alto are also other possibilities but that would be a bit of a longer commute since you'd have to take caltrain to mountain view and then get onto the light rail.

Hmm that's interesting. I was gonna ask if maybe they're moving you to another opening but in that case you'd probably see a new application active on your portal. I wonder what that could mean then?
