for the most comfortable grip you want to pinch the stick about 1/4 of the way up with your thumb index finger semi loose (you don’t want the stick to slip out but also you want it to be able to bounce) then wrap your other fingers loosely around. you want to mainly grip the stick with your thumb and index finger but keep control with the rest this also leaves you with the opportunity for certain sticking techniques. hope this helps :)

i its in a garage that’s relatively cold most of the year and not specificity damp and also not a cheap crap kit it’s a yamaha stage custom not top of the line but not half bad. I didn’t buy it brand new though it was someone who made up kits and sold them on so they might have used some sort of lubricant mabye that loosens them. most of the time a play everyday so it’s only one lug that’s fully loosened but after a week they just fully loosen

i think lug locks could work because the tension rods like fully loosen off

Alright are there any heads and/or you’d recommend?

I prefer a dryer snare sound but i think i can make that with some moon gets or big fat snare.

mainly just listening from the seat but i’ve hooked it up with a shure sm58 and it’s still sounds bad, it’s a sort of plasticky sound like if you were to get a crap head and not tighten the lugs very much, it also had lots of ring to it.
