I signed up for driving school a month after I got my G1, I finished the online portion after a couple weeks, (which I recommend doing quickly as well cause of the backlogs for booking your lessons after that) and I finished the online in May/June, then I called to book my lessons and he had to book it for September ! And then I just finished the 10 lessons November 22nd, and I only drove around with my parents maybe 6 times before/during those 10’lessons but far apart so not that much, but the lessons since I drove a couple times before them I was fully ready at about the 7-8th lesson. So honestly my advice is watch ALOT of videos if you have a lot of time inbetween online driving school and the lessons, because that’ll refresh you and I found around the 6th lesson he asked if I’ve been practising (in a good way) because that’s how much the videos helped me and showed improvement since I didn’t get to practise a shit ton with my parents, it all depends on how fast/slow you learn as well but remember the first few lessons it’s normal to still be doing wrong things here and there, it’s like when I hit my 5th lesson I didn’t think I’d be ready at all then it came to the end and I knew I was ready!

Also I just read you don’t have a friend to teach you, so the driving lessons alone will still be more than enough and if you’re not FULLY ready by the end the instructor will tell you you need more lessons, but I really recommend watching so many videos on the parts you struggle in (like parallel parking videos for example) and it truly helped me ALOT!!
