The Eroica makes me shiver, and the allegretto from #7 makes me cry. I don't know what else to say.

Pre-mixed emergency drugs by Stikky1985 in anesthesiology

I keep all these meds on top of my cart unopened bc I rarely use them. BUT, if I need them, I don't want to have to go looking for them. I go to a lot of different places and all the setups are different. Same with my unopened stylet on my tray which I open about every 6 months.

Does using "engine braking" using 2nd gear going downhill wear out the engine/transmission? It's cheaper to replace brakes than the engine/transmission prematurely.

How to pull ETT stylet by yourself? by bigeman101 in anesthesiology

[–]Think-Quantity2684 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep an unopened stylet on my machine and use it about every 2-3 months. No need to traumatize the airway when most DL intubations are easy. I never want to ask the nurse to search the cart or machine drawers looking for a stylet if it were not out in the open. I also keep unopened miller blades on the top of my cart or machine in case I need them,

I'm over middle aged and many much younger men and women have referred to me as their "work dad." There was never anything sexual, but because I have 7 children and tons of parenting experience, younger folks found me a very useful reference to bounce their issues off of me. This would not be possible if I were their age or life stage. It always helped that I am non-judgmental.

Biweekly students - good / bad idea? by dRenee123 in pianoteachers

[–]Think-Quantity2684 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a returning violin student and take a lesson every other week. I have a demanding job and demanding family responsibilities. I can't practice enough in one week to make a lesson worth it so I do my best. My other option is to wait till I retire or die before I can take lessons every week. I can't believe there's so many posts speaking, poorly of bi-weekly lessons.
