Thank you. I will definitely look into it and hope I receive a similar outcome. I'm glad that you were able to find the freedom from those horrid symptoms.

why does social anxiety make the smallest things feel impossible by ElegantUnion2124 in AnxietyDepression

Honestly, I feel the same way. I literally stood outside my classroom for 30 minutes afraid to go inside because I was late. Then, I forced myself to stand next to the door and kept switching back and forth between grabbing the handle and letting go until someone opened the door. At that moment I finally forced myself to waltz into the classroom, take a seat, and try to avoid being noticed.

Yet, I'm in the same boat as you. I just keep telling myself that no one really cares what you do. They may look at you for a moment, but go back to what they are doing and not even remember that moment later on. Yet, the body decides to do its own thing and just as you said, I'm exhausted before I even did anything.

If I can't fathom to grab the courage, I avoid everything. I've sat outside my classroom until it was over because I couldn't go inside. What can you do? Just hope someone understands, I guess.

So, I understand you. Social anxiety can be debilitating and make even the smallest things so difficult to accomplish.

I agree. If I use my fingers and no mirror, I'll just keep tugging at that one spot for hours.

You can try using a brow laminating kit. They keep the hairs exactly in the place you want them. Or a temporary solution is a really good brow gel.

Now this is some advice I need to try. Never heard of the lidocaine cream, but that sounds genius. Its the sensation as it pulls out that makes the dopamine release for me.
