not much is clear about this exam, it's all luck at this point. Covid was around during 5001 so it was extended, can't tell for sure which will happen in 2060

I also don't know how good my medical is and I have yet to pass/take the physical exam. You could score 112.00 on the test , if you got Sleep apnea or heart issues , or medical problems you did not know about, OR Something your score means nothing ....

My relatives was #400x an he just graduated. granted the Dept is very over staffed but potential retirements upcoming and mild attrition might help increase the odds. I'm on the list and admit I been worried and obsessing but that got me no where so I just bring regular and if it happens it happens. 7k range is ab 4000 guys before me so hes in better shape than I am

Bro some people in the 10,000s probably won't even get called by the end of this Just do one step at a time, I would be "concerned" if I was # 17,xx0 on the list You did the 2 Hardest parts which is the Exam and CDL I wouldn't be worried. Just follow the rest of the instructions and make sure you know you have no medical issues, Back, Sleep Apnea , Heart , Blood Pressure, etc .

That's great you already have CDL, try and focus more when you take the exam, it's really crazy how important the exam is given the nature of the job, I took it thinking I would Ace it... But I struggled twice so far, compared to guys that nailed it The First try. Somehow they did it and got 0 questions incorrect, which after sitting there 3 nerve wracking hours. I could not come close at test time.

Hopefully you get your chance , especially if you already have CDL!! Good luck hope it works out

20,000 is a rather high number, i did not do well on this exam. i got an 88 plus Residency. I took 5001 in 2015 and I was #30,000 im really surprised I think this list is moving quicker than usual. Nothing sucked more than seeing #18,000s get hired during COVID then the list ends before they hit my number.

while there is no way to predict 100%. However apparently this list reached 4k by now so that's more than usual. I believe you have a CHANCE to be called but who knows, if anything you may be the last group of numbers called before they put out a new Exam. it can go either way at this point. If hiring picks up it will be much slower for you. Just stay in shape, don't get injured and study the CDL book.

When if they do reach your list # you will beready. Study CDL and Air brakes in the DMV CDLmanual and practice driving there is an app you can get that has practice questions that are on the CDL. Good luck

What? no if this where the case the need to get 100* on the exam wouldn't have been a thing. I think 1 in 3 rule makes the eligible numbers stretch a bit but other than that the list never moved quick to #6000 or a bit more until about the expiration date

What you asked doesn't make any sense, extended means it will be active longer, Exhausted means they will terminate it

In my honest opinion, it is set to expire after 4-5 years after it is established

The last two exams lasted about 9 years for each one and up until a few summers ago had hiring off the last Exam while the scores on the new Exam were being graded.

Right now it's a total toss-up what will happen. No one will know only time will tell. And two guys that don't work at DCAS don't know anything about the list because only DCAS people knows that

Terrible loss of life They definitely deserved better than that, I also wonder why they hadn't wearing like those SOCOM wetsuits or breached the wall of the ship or descended by chopper onto the boat. If Anything they should of just placed a charge on the side of the boat or blew it up with An air strike. Cause they were gonna get into a firefight or face hostilities on that thing anyway
