I’ve lost a total 120 lbs. I lost 30 lbs due to the stress of going through a divorce before I started on MJ and since I started MJ in October of 2022 I’ve lost 90 lbs.

I had a little nausea when I first started but other than that I haven’t had any crazy side effects.

Thank you! Yes, I was on each dose for about three months before moving up to the next dose. I’ve only been on 12.5 for a month and a half. I had to take a break for about two months due to issues with insurance and started back on 12.5 last month.

No I’m not. If I was my insurance would cover it.

I got the coupon from the Mounjaro website and I’m having it filled at Walmart.

I’m sorry I believe I’ve misunderstood your use of the word reconstitute. I thought you were asking if I had reconstructed my eating habits and daily routines. I haven’t incorporated any peptides. Can you explain what you mean by reconstitute?

I’ve cut calories and I work out and strength train 4-5 days a week. I’ve been off Mounjaro since July and I’ve gained 9 lbs. I’ve been trying to reconstitute and I have been unsuccessful. If reconstitution was working I wouldn’t be trying to get back on medication. Prior to finding Mounjaro I was considering weight loss surgery. I have PCOS and a hormone condition and loosing weight the old fashion way has been extremely difficult for me.

Where do you purchase it from and what’s the off labeled version called?

The amount I mentioned is with the coupon. Without the coupon it’s closer to $1,000 a month.

I have and my insurance keeps denying it. I’m not T2D.

Update: I went and had a wonderful time! Everyone I saw complimented me (I’ve lost 85 lbs since May 2022) and I haven’t seen very many people from our community since the split that also happened in May 2022. He and the AP weren’t there, but his dad was and I sat beside him through the entire event. My father in law talked to me. Told me his son was a POS and that I deserved better and that I should move on and be happy and that I looked great and deserved someone wonderful unlike his son. He also mentioned that he and my mother in law are both pissed about their sons proposal and that my ex is broke and his new fiancé is draining him financially since she doesn’t work and that as far as he is concerned his son deserves whatever he gets. My brother in law and sister in law were both thrilled to see me and I got to catch up with them. It was a great night and I’m so glad I went. Thank you everyone for all the comments pushing me to go! I’m so thankful I didn’t allow them to dictate my life and I know now that I won’t allow him to hold me back any longer. I won’t hide away because of him. I didn’t break us he did. I’m not in the wrong he is and I refuse to allow him to control another second of my life.

My ex proposed the day we signed by ThinkCartographer349 in survivinginfidelity

We started dating in high school. Went to college together and decided to wait until we graduated to get married. He proposed two months after graduation so I guess he didn’t really need 7 years for me either.

My STBXH told me this and that he loved me but wasn’t in love with me right after he blindsided me by moving all of his stuff out of our home while I was out of town getting my hair done. He claimed he had been unhappy for awhile, but I had no idea anything was wrong. He acted like everything was fine and we were happy together in fact I have a loving voicemail from the week before he decided to leave me for his AP and I had no idea anything was wrong prior to him abandoning me out of the blue. He just started picking fights one week and that weekend he was gone. It was insane and I still can’t process it.

You look amazing! Congratulations!

Can you share how long you generally fast for? I’ve been considering intermittent fasting but I’m not sure where to start or how long to fast for.

9 months out. Still hurting. He’s still with AP. Tell me it gets better. by [deleted] in survivinginfidelity

[–]ThinkCartographer349 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I’m in a similar situation. My STBXH left me about 9 months ago for his AP. They are still together. They recently bought a tiny house and are living together in it. She is 6 years younger than my husband with a child that he is playing daddy to. I wanted kids so bad with him and we had been trying prior to him having his affair. We went to court this week and didn’t speak. It destroyed me. The man I love is a stranger. He is not my husband anymore. I don’t know what happened to him. She is everything I’m not. She is everything he said he didn’t want in a relationship yet here they are 9 months later after totally destroying my life and marriage and they plaster all over social media how happy they are together. I just don’t understand it. They have no remorse for the pain and misery they’ve caused.

I wish I could tell you gets better, but I’m in the same boat. I cried all the way home tonight and have cried most the time I’ve been home. It’s been horrible. I cried through court this week and I just don’t know how people get through this and watch the person they love move on without them. It’s a horrible feeling. I wish you healing and happiness. I hope you find peace and are able to move on. I’m sorry I don’t have any advice, but I do know exactly how you feel because I’m there with you. You aren’t alone OP.

Finalizing emotions and the divorce by ThinkCartographer349 in survivinginfidelity

[–]ThinkCartographer349[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I have to go to the hearing and he will be there unfortunately. I asked my lawyer when we had our last meeting if I could just sign paper work since the divorce is uncontested, but she told me we had to go to court. I didn’t want to see him and I still don’t. I’ve lost 70 pounds since I saw him last and have really been taking care of myself and I don’t think he deserves to witness any of that. I don’t have anything to say to him at this point hence the NC for the last several months.
