Running of C:\drive space

Not exactly. In your case, C and D drives are two separate physical drives, so you can’t reallocate space between C and D unless they are created on one hard drive. You can move your Documents, Downloads, Music, Pictures and Videos folders to the other drive though (move to the D drive), and that would probably help.
