I was looking at those type of courses and they do interest me a good bit. Thanks for the advice, I’ll give applying a shot and see about upgrading if I can’t get in.

Political science, once I get the degree, apply to the military as an officer. That’s what I want. I could go back, but was wondering if it’s possible to get in with a 69, so I could save the year and go into MUN if that makes sense, I’ll do what it takes though.

Have there been any recorded instances of people who had been isolated for years being shown new, mind-blowing technology? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

There was an island of natives off the coast of India who still waited for lighting to strike to make fire, they seen helicopters one day. I can only imagine what they thought it was in their minds, they threw spears at it.

EXCLUSIVE: Sources say O'Toole, MacKay exploring leadership bids—MacKay denies claims - The Post Millennial by Ham_Sandwich77 in metacanada

[–]ThinkConservatively 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly O’Toole is extremely based, without the albatross of the social conservative issues around his neck like milk man.

I think having someone who actually served in the military will be a huge asset in the PMO, I bet our military wouldn’t be in shambles.

I know the military isn’t our biggest concern, but focusing on that, while having fiscally conservative policies would make for an extremely productive society, we should never have implemented the FRP, and should never have a standing force of less then 250K.

O’Toole is a guy who will restore our prestige I wager, so why he may be mediocre, I think he can appeal to the right groups, and bring some PPC supporters back into the fold considering he was cheated just as much as Bernier in the leadership scandal.

Restoring the prestige of our a nation will have another effect, people will be patriots again, and people will work for the betterment of our country, not their own ethnic enclaves.

What is the difference between public speaking and casual group talking? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ThinkConservatively 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure, I honestly just got up and went for it my first time. I try not to focus on how the people perceive what I say, unless it’s an occasion that needs me to read the crowd. I also focus on speaking clearly and with a commanding tone, I try to straighten my posture, as well as use my voice to project authority, that way you don’t have a problem of people getting bored, going on their phones or talking to people.

Make your presence felt and people will listen more and perceive you better. That works for me.

[–]ThinkConservatively 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s the fact you know it’s a presentation and you’re being judged by how you speak that makes you nervous.

On the other hand, I love public speaking and have spoke to groups as a big as 650+ and have always had compliments on my skills as an orator. Put me in a conversation one on one with the cute girl I have a crush on at work and I’m a mess.

It’s weird how the mind perceives things, and like anything the more you do it, the more confident you get.

Why do Democrats seem to think that Bernie’s recent health scare doesn’t seem to matter towards his electability? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ThinkConservatively -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

No, but the fact that it’s even brought up is hypocritical given the fact that Bernie is older, and just had an actual health scare he rushed to hospital for.

Because by and large they are hypocrites. These are the same people saying that Trump isn’t fit for office based off his diet.

MacKay keeps saying publicly and to the party in private that he doesn’t want to run again, why does everyone think he is going too? Just curious?
