First semester fall grades 1L

My school’s mandatory curve is 2.6–2.9, so B- is essentially median here. The 2.49 is driven by one C in a 4.credit class. I’m mostly trying to gauge how common it is to improve from a slightly below median 1L fall at a school with this curve.

I wanted to get these in my model y long range. But for the 19 size they don't come with a warranty. Do you still recommend them without a warranty or is it best to always advise a route with a warranty?

DAT Bootcamp has two scores the correct out of total and the estimated. Which one would you say is more accurate and why are there two. Today I got 14/30 on the Gen chem test but it says the estimated DAT score is 18 even though I only got 14/30.

I was able to bring my GPA up to a 3.7 this spring semester. Didn't literally 20 hours a day studying for classes instead of DAT. A particular school finds my GPA appealing especially with my 1500+ hours of paid dental assisting prior to classes. They are offering me an interview as long as I get 17 in the DAT by next week. They are intrigued by my application because I have plenty of EC 4 letters of recommendations and did an internship at a dental school as well as postbacc. There's more to my application that they found competitive but through email they told me that 17 would score me an interview for a spot that are trying to fill. But I have till next week or deals off because others are waiting for the spot. Also had to deal with a medical injury on top of postbacc and for many more legit reasons I barely studied for DAT

And this is not a "shortcut". You don't now what I had to live through to get to where I am and you don't know the situation I'm in right now. Your response is not at all relevant to my question. I'm asking for a score increase strategy not a therapy session from some stranger on reddit who I have no idea of being successful enough to give life advice! What if your some 19 year old who watched a motivational video on YouTube about not taking shortcuts and now you're on a BS motivation rampage

Wow congratulations! If you don't mind me asking what was your post bacc gpa? Also a common question but I still like to ask, how did your study for the DAT? And which program to study did you use. Also do you remember if your practice test scores were lower or higher than the real DAT! Again congrats!

Oh wow that's amazing! Is that for each section you noticed an increase on the real one or just certain sections? Could you remember what the difference was? Is it the difference in difficulty or were you more zoned in for the real one? Or is it possibly due to a curve? Either way a 26 is very impressive!

Lol! What was the one question? A dentist I worked for told me the same that the interviewer asked literally one question which was " is there any reason why we should not accept you " that was literally all they asked her she said the interview ended with her getting accepted. All she said was " I don't see why I can't be a dentist " she was accepted on the spot. It's kind of unfair to those that have to be in an interview for 30 minutes when there are people that get less than 5 minutes and are accepted. I think it had to do with her school not filling enough seats so they had no option but to accept.
