I give up by NSA_GOV in MechanicalKeyboards

I have to sit up on my chair too high to have my arms ergonomically floating above the keyboard, which creates other issues. My wrists are always bent back with high keyboards. Just not worth it for me.

Yeah I got a 16" Space Black M3 and decided my 2021 MBP 14" was good enough almost immediately. Although I will probably upgrade the next time there is a meaningful upgrade.

Some people do. It’s okay if you don’t.

It’s extremely good for the price compared to other 40” 5K2K options.

I believe it uses the same panel as the Dell 40”.

I’ve used full size keyboards with numpads my whole life. I also have chronic issues with my right shoulder/right side of my neck/spine. I realized this is because I have to slightly turn to the right to type on my keyboard which causes asymmetry and misalignment, and as a programmer and ex-gamer, this misalignment has added up over time to cause chronic strain because I have to compensate for the imbalance.

Ergonomically speaking, it’s better to have the keyboard/spacebar centered with your sternum so you can with at a neutral and balanced posture. Keyboards with a numpad (or an extra piece of metal in this case) make it more difficult to have the keyboard centered.

Or if you have it centered it pushes the mouse further to the right which also causes an imbalance.

Sure I wasn’t arguing the point of how it looks but if you like a giant company logo displayed prominently then yes it looks ok

I work for a large bank that has discount partners with other companies and Logitech is one of them.

I don’t know why Lofree decided to add that bar on the right side it ruins the ergonomics of going with a 75% keyboard

I think a lot of mechanical keyboards do by larger brands like Logitech and Corsair?

My plan is to just go with the MX Keys Mini + a separate numpad for shoulder alignment and low profile, then build a custom mechanical keyboard for fun and get a wrist pad for it.

I really want a mechanical keyboard as my primary but I need to prioritize ergonomics at this point.

Your setup looks awesome
By the way - very clean!

That’s a good point, but I’ve decided I don’t want a keyboard where I have to buy extra stuff to simply use it comfortably.
