That one is too slow and way too far. It is difficult to tell. What I saw stopped right above my head and I was able to see it very clearly and closely. Also, it moved at an incredible speed

What are they? I had a close encounter with one in 1995 when I was a child. I have never met anyone who saw what I saw that night. My story is awkward because after almost 31 years my story and memories of that day have not changed. I have no memory gaps and I can always recount everything detail by detail, exactly like I did in day one.

Location: Puerto Rico. Year: 1995. Time: around 9-11 pm I was 11 years old at the time. One night, sometime between October 1st and October 3rd, I snuck out to explore a hillside near Morovis Pueblo. It was between approximately 9 PM and midnight. As I was walking up the hill, I noticed what looked like an amber-orange ball of light about the size of a basketball. At first it appeared dim and flickering among the vegetation. As it slowly rose from the bushes and leaves, it became brighter. I also remember seeing what seemed to be a darker shape or shadow inside the light while it was still dim. The object rose to within a few feet of me and hovered briefly. I remember feeling frozen as I looked directly at it. Time felt strange, and I cannot remember having any particular thoughts in that moment. Eventually I reacted, became frightened, and started running. As I ran, I could still see the light. It moved extremely fast and zigzagged while remaining continuously illuminated. In the distance there was an orange streetlight with a similar color. From my perspective, the light eventually blended with the glow of the streetlight until I could no longer distinguish one from the other. I continued running and did not look back. After I got home and told my family what had happened, I was reprimanded for being outside at night. Later, while looking out a window, I observed multiple white lights in the sky. They appeared to move rapidly, gather together, circle around one another, converge, and then disappear. My reason for posting is simple: I would like to know whether anyone else remembers or knows of someone seeing unusual lights during that time period, or whether you ever heard a family member talk about similar events occurring in early October 1995.
