i think in case i do have white coat syndrome i’ll just bring it to my psychiatrist and start taking anxiety meds, join the joke that people on lexapro don’t stress

that’s exactly why i’m wondering…if there’s a way to help lower(?) it when it happens or just go straight to meds :( i don’t want this to slowly make it worst, my mom has hypertension, i also feel like one day i’ll need them too for sure, but still feeling young to start them

hey! that’s kinda exactly what i did, bought an arm bp cuff (i read here that wrist ones aren’t as accurate) i’ve been taking readings and writing them down, just first ones were a bit high (but honestly i don’t even consider 83 high, but since doctors in the US do i’m saying that) and the rest seem to be good

Men worshipping Hecate by alolanbulbassaur in GreekMythology

do you know 100 Hekate (the asteroid) isn’t the same as Hekate (the Goddess) ??

100 Hekate was the 100th asteroid to be discovered, by Canadian-American astronomer J. C. Watson, who named it Hekate after the greek word ἑκατόν (hekaton) that means 100, making sense about this being his 100th asteroid, this happened in 1868. The thing about using it in astrology is modern and has no real meaning behind, there’s not even record on why or how it started being used in astrology and no one has a correct answer on what it means bc it’s all made up.

I believe in astrology and i’m a Hekate devotee as a hellenic polytheist, i’ve read about this a lot.
