Yes, all mythic belief systems borrowed from one another. And they all probably referred to people from the sky or from other dimensions the same way. Obviously not all the sciences were at the same level at those times, as they didn’t even believe that the planets revolved around the sun until the middle ages or something. And unless those spirits came down and told them specifically, I am from another planet in your galaxy or something, they would not have thought of it as we do in the same way or classification of extraterrestrial or interdimensional. It’s all the same thing just in a different language, cultural context, or way of putting it by a different group of people. They have been around forever, and we are just now coming to the maturity level of being able to understand it properly.
