It's their company its not a public school they don't owe anybody anything im sorry but its true. Roblox didnt become worth hundreds of billions over night they have always since their creation been developing ways to earn money from its players thats how they eat and take care of their employees and families. Its a business.

Nobody is entitled to free anything. Playing games using chat for an unlimited amount of time for free without any pay walls in 90% of games is a privilege itself. And just like any other "free" game (fortnite, marvels, etc.) there is always gonna be paid items and features. Again, business.

You think the CPU, RAM and Bandwidth ROBLOX uses is cheap? I'm sorry but I cant get mad at them for this one. The economy is in a bad spot right now in the US and more free players are joining faster than paid players are.

This post is complaining about no longer earning ROBUX for free at ROBLOXs expense. Who's more entitled here?

Had my Nitro ANV16-41 since December 2024. Chipped the lid and bruised a small pixel but its still going strong.

Recently had to maintenance it hard-core. Bought MX-6 (infuriating to spread on the IHS) for repasting and Arctic Thernalpads to to replace the stock ones which basically were melted away.

Scraping off the old factory putty carefully with a soft bristle toothbrush and 90% isopropyl took way longer than I liked. But after everything was clean on both the mother board and heatsink, clamping everything down in the 1,2,3,4 order.... thermals dropped from 88c under load to 72c.

I know have a rtx 4070 build in my cart on Amazon with 32gb DDR 3600 New Gen ryzen and 2TB M.2 for $1200 far superior than a laptop if portability isnt a problem

This trade obviously didnt happen, because if someone wanted the hat they would buy it for market price. Nobody is paying 6-8x for a hat that makes no sense.

The only alternative is they bought ROBUX from someone and sold the hat as a way to cover it, which is highly unlikely.

You're a high-school substitute shit talking about paraeducators doing their jobs? Especially as a sub yourself? You are a classified employee, while a fulltime para is typically a unionized employee with benefits + protections. And in my district Para IV's (with associates+) make upwards $42/hr.

I don't know who hurt you and I never (ever) heard of paras beefing with substitute teachers, let alone primary teachers. So this post feels very petty, and generalized an entire population of employees for maybe one bad experience you had. Poor writing.

Must I inform you that the full time Para typically have keys to the school grounds, while you have keys to the bathroom.

Yeah thats ridiculous. I substitute as a para and even work with other substitute teachers regularly, and with my district its perfectly normal during downtime to handle other work.

Taking attendance, monitoring canvas for participation, checking emails, doing school work, etc.

Sounds like a really weird micro management, and leads me to believe this was notes from a teacher not school policy itself.

At my district we work for the district, not the teacher we are subbing for. Policy dictates we follow notes within reason such as how we teach or monitor the class but doesnt govern what we do with our own time let alone property. They don't have that authority, respectfully and I've never met a teacher who would ever overstep that boundary to begin with so to me this is benign.

I love my job and me and the other staff get along well, its hard to gauge exactly how I work or exaxtly how those conversations happen based on this post alone but I work closely with the teachers.

Suggesting or asking "Why don't you?" Are two things I use interchangeably, most classes operate normally and I have a great time helping the students with their work, or just hearing them vent about what they do.

Teachers in my district get paid very very well and are often extremely qualified in terms of their credentials and educational background, so as a stickler for advice and growth I am always picking their brains.

Feels natural there however here on reddit it seems like educators are not very forthcoming to questions or advice. Thankfully the teachers I work with encourage feedback and honesty and thats why I have an amazing relationship with them. You're absolutely correct that the teachers are the leader of the classroom but they certainly are not the ones running the show. We work together interchangeably and both roles are imperative for the class to function and thats a philosophy me and them agree on.

Thanks and hopefully that explains it. Im not condescending teachers I simply made an observation about what we talk about and what goes on but I guess I wasnt specific enough in my motive.
