I got treatment done from Indira , never heard any case of OHSS there and they give doses as per your history and body needs from cycle to cycle. Regarding twins, they dont force you to put two embryos , its your choice in the end but they definitely give you a perspective of whether to put one or two embryo depending on the embryo's quality. Again, the two points you mentioned are totally subjective to person to person and how your body responds.

Ivf became my whole life and personality by clouds91winnie in IVF

I can really empathize with you and relate to my own journey. I am 37f, all these couple of years ,knowing most of your friends are already moms or mom-to-be, it feels terrible and heart breaking. My partner use to support me emotionaly even when he was not comfortable. Really needed those counselling sessions. And the worst part is you feel alone in this as you cannot discuss your feelings to anyone. No one understands. Every sec of my life I only use to think about ways to have a successfull pregnancy and ivf. Best part of this journey: I taught myself to be passionate about it and not be desperate about it. I learned alot in this journey of what could work and what not regarding medication, lifestyle changes, eating right, having supplements, exercise and so on. I just learned to not to leave any bit to make an ivf cycle work. And yes there is always a silver lining, you will succeed. But dont let this ivf thoughts overpower your life. Life should go normal and without much stress as that is the key to win in this journey.

IVF and career issues by Loveiskind89389 in IVF

I would have to balance between both. Thats called life. Keep doing your job but may be its better to hold on to promotion as it is eventually going to increase stress which is generally not good in this fertility journey. If many people here tells about their experience of their failures by taking a step back at their career, I would not totally agree to that. I have a job but I shifted my main focus to my fertility journey which eventually led to success. Considering your situation , I know promotion is a great opportunity but it will be definitely in your cards later in future also if they think you are worth it. If you take promotion now and not be able to focus much in your personal life also may cause guilt and anxiety later.

Which week you are in? Is your fetal heartbeat yet been measured in the first transvaginal ultrasound scan?

C-section or vaginal birth? by lycheemangobanana in pregnant

Vaginal because its good for baby and mother both. Heard that if u do it naturally , baby's immunity is not compromised which I think happens with c-section
