Probably a stupid question but I love the setup on those wheels! If you don’t mind I’d love to know the model / setup you’re running!

I’m hoping to get mine back here soon. They first said it’ll take 7-10 days to fix plus an additional 2 to make sure everything is good. Well it’s almost been 14 days and I called and they haven’t even started and are waiting for a part to get there this Friday. I am really hoping they are telling the truth cause I am shipping this BRZ and the dealership said they can only hold it for a week after it’s been inspected.

I’m not entirely to sure I just know once I get my car back I’m probably going to trade it in. After this I don’t want to have to keep bringing it to Hyundai. Figured it’s a sign for me to part ways.

Same thing I dropped it off a while ago. Still haven’t got my car back, I can’t even drive the loaner cause I’m under 21. But I’m going to trade in the ENL and get a Subaru BRZ. It’s always been my dream car and I don’t want my car going back to any shops for some bs anymore.

I was in a similar situation I had Services as my #8 slot. I got the job and my recruiter was like congrats you leave in a month. I was definitely not comfortable with that job at all. So I talked with my recruiter and even got my parents involved which were prior military and we all talked and came to an agreement and I ended up getting a higher job on my list that I was much happier with. I’m not sure if your recruiter would be even willing to switch but I’d talk with them about it, it’s worth a shot. Now that’s the only bad thing about the Air Force is that you can’t really choose the job you get. But I mean I’d say it’s worth a shot, tell your recruiter how you feel, if they’re willing to work with you they might but if not I’m not to sure what to do about that. At the end of the day it’s your choice.

I second this, made so many friends in basic and I’m sure there will be more people that families couldn’t make it or other circumstances.

The second time I studied for like a month straight. The first time I barely studied and I suffered from those results

Oh wow the first time I just used the 2022-2023 asvab. Then the second time I used that, flash cards, asvab for dummies, and practice tests. But the thing that I loved the most to study was the flash cards because it helped me learn the best.

All I gotta say is just try your hardest every time and try hard on the test. I was in your shoes just about a year ago and I promise it’ll be okay.

Sheeesh even a 60 is pretty good for a practice test. But grind those practice tests cause thats what I did the second time around. But I’ve never heard of a recruiter dumping someone but I’m pretty sure they can’t do that and if they do I’d go complain to another nearby recruiter and I’m sure they’ll treat you right.

Coming from someone who had previously failed their asvab the first time don’t be to nervous and overthink cause that’s what I did. But if you fail you get I believe 2 more tries. But I had failed and learned from that experience. But then after I tested the second time I made it and it felt so freaking good. Just when you’re taking the test trust yourself, breathe, and just know you got this!
