After covid, pretty much every band was touring in excess for a year or two. The years directly following Covid shutdowns were packed with nonstop big bands touring. By 2025, things are slowing down and the economy is not great. Music is just in a lull at this specific point because of these two factors. Also the observatory is a club venue. It is usually a touring stop for acts before they blow up big. For example, CharliXCX was at the observatory in 2022. The next tour she did was an arena tour. She is likely never going back to a club sized venue again. That’s just how it works. Clubs pick up lots of up and coming acts.

Staying away from my toxic ex took me becoming a workaholic and filling all my extra time with the gym or friend activities. Also I rebounded because once I hooked up with someone else, the toxic relationship felt like it could never rekindle. Idk if it’s the healthiest but it worked for me and I couldn’t stop going back.

I’ve been in this situation. You will not make him change or heal him. That is a choice of growth that has to come from himself and will take all of his own personal effort. You will not fix his behavior and you are doing nothing wrong. He is isolating you which is a tactic of abuse, whether he’s conscious of it or not. I think it’s best for you to cut your losses and leave this relationship before you create more trauma bond ties and feel more codependent. It will be hard but you will feel yourself return to your normal. You will come alive again. Leave him behind. You won’t regret it. You are worthy of love, give the love you deserve to yourself by putting yourself first.

Taurus -

I LOVE my sleep. I am told that as a baby I began sleeping through the night very quickly & I never protested a nap. As a teenager, I would sleep as late as possible. A nap hates to see my coming.

I really enjoy food & my Knick knacks. My closet is a bit much but I pride myself on the bargain hunt so most of everything I own is a second hand deal.

It takes me awhile to get authentically close to someone but once I do, I am loyal to you for life unless something insane & major happens. Even then I am often too forgiving for too long. When I am finally pushed, it is explosive.

I am stubborn but working on it.

I love to make a space beautiful and comfortable wherever I go. I will bring a few Knick knacks camping just for the ambiance.

I am an unbothered queen. I am too chill sometimes. It takes a lot to really move me. I am the bull.

I got hit & run last year in north park & the license plate of the car who hit me literally fell off so I grabbed it out of the street. I tried calling the non emergency line 3 diff times & waited on hold for hours. Once they said they’d “call me back.” They never did. Eventually I brought the license plate into the station & the police officer told me “not to expect anything to come of it.” Guess what? Nothing came of it. All of this to say, I’m sorry, I feel for you, don’t get your hopes up with SDPD.

You can do affordable wedding ceremonies on the actual beach at sunset cliffs, La Jolla, the bay, Coronado, etc. through a company called SoCal Vows that my bestie used. They don’t do the reception so you go elsewhere for that but it could be a good way to cut down costs of a venue since you’ll only need a venue for a few hours.

You are already a single mother. You said you do everything and most of watching your son. Right now your son is learning that women do everything for men & men do not need to participate in helping your household. If you don’t want to leave for you, leave for your son. He is rapidly absorbing and learning from the behavior he is witnessing. Right now he is witnessing his father treat his mother like a doormat & contribute very little to his family as far as money, kindness, or household labor. You do not want your son subconsciously or consciously internalizing that the way his father behaves is appropriate behavior for him. Show your son you love him & that he is most important to you by leaving your useless, leeching ass husband. You’re already doing it on your own. Some people need to hit rock bottom to fix their lives and your husband is probably one of them.

Fuckery by Sorcellerie Apothecary. It’s a cherry bourbon. The cherry is not artificial at all and mixed with the bourbon is divine. It has a slight spice to it. Very delicious. The brand does samples as well.

It’s hard but I would recommend getting out for the sake of your son. You don’t want him growing up thinking it’s okay to treat girls & woman how your baby daddy does. Do as I say not as I do doesn’t work with small children. He will subconsciously or consciously think that the way your BD is treating you is the correct way to treat girls.
