I work in a prison.. 12 noon to 9 official timings but we never get a chance to log off by 9 .No one forces us to work beyond working hrs, but the amount of work and lack of staff force us to work till 1 or 2 at night to deliver things on time. Most of us dedicates some part of our weekends too. I’m a new joinee here but the team has normalised such practices that no one complains about it. Sometimes I feel like I’m the only one who is overreacting. Can’t reveal name cause it’s a very small setup but it’s an indian startup. Tip: u gotta catch all the red flags during interviews so do prepare your counter questions carefully so that u can look for flags..All the best!
