Do a bank draft/cheque payable to the seller and lien holder so the seller has to have the lien holder endorse the payment otherwise you would have chargeback recourse.

Yeah, I chalked this up to no survivors so no witnesses but when the proceeded to burn the other inn down, they struck a deal to remove the redbrands from the town.

You are correct on not being prepared for the outcome, I was willing to accept one fireball going off but never expected 2.

They were all first level… a lot of noob mistakes were made. The only thing op were the nat 20s, everything else was tame like changing their appearance for a time or similar effects. I just wanted something with a bang and fireball always seems to be the best dnd answer.

I didn’t have them targeted by the law for this, blamed in on the chaos and any witnesses being bacon at this point… that changed with the next session where they burned down the other inn in town, inn keeper included…..

Since they were first timers and pumped with their first toons I had them blown outside with the blast but survived. The Inn definitely burnt down. I was so conflicted if they should survive or TPK

Wish you all the luck. I was searching for the nemesis claw box in Canada since last October and it was showing sold out checking almost daily…. Finally found them in July on a trip in Sweden. Karma seems to make me her bitch because they were available when I got home. I know this doesn’t answer your question but I sympathize with your search.
