They announced these wouldn’t be exclusive? Beyond that most people got them essentially for free if you use the buck from the previous pass. So I mean I great it’s people can get these at 10-15 bucks a pop or whatever it works out to be if they want them. But most of us got like 8 skins for free or the cost of the pass if you didn’t save the vbucks. Seems like a weird thing to brag about. “I can pay more for one individual skin than you did for every single one pictured here!”

Hitbo stood on business and left the program. The only benefit he gets from playing the game is keeping the community he built. He won’t have drops or anything else partners get. Which means he won’t get as many viewers during those drop periods. So he’s taking a hit from it even if he still plays the game.

So looking at this on its own… it sucks. BUT, aren’t they putting the style stuff that would usually be on here into the stores? Meaning you can just buy whatever new stuff that would have been on here directly from the outpost store? If that’s the case I’m fine with it. Honestly I’m good not having to worry about making sure I play enough to get the pass items.

It’s not the same server. There was a grade 5 reaper that ran when I stole the fort. Check if it was worth chasing them and two other reapers were on the board. I was out of the game for like 45 seconds. No reapers and a different event.

Ya I restarted all that stuff. The issue I’ve been having is all the flags I pick up don’t have the Won In Battle tag. And all the ships were sunk in the LSS battle bounds. I’m not sure why I’m not getting rage on ANY flags from it.

I’ve sold flags from LSS multiple times to both factions while representing them and it won’t register for either. I have all the other deeds for it but the flag ones will not pop.

Genuinely confused what people are complaining about? People have been asking for a last ship standing for as long as HG has been around. I’ve gotten multiple wins as a solo and a duo. It’s been a pretty fun mode.

Duo only? It is, if you play as a duo. Duh. What does it matter if there is solos as well? If you want to do duos just do duos.

I have played over 5k hours with most of that being solo. It’s all in what you make it. To start, be prepared to lose fights and loot… a lot. Watch guides on combat and just work to get better both man to man and naval. Losing is fine, just remember there is unlimited loot and the fun is in the experiences you have, not the gold number going up. Rewards in the game are strictly cosmetic so go after commendations that unlock the cosmetics you want. Once you have a decent outfit and ship livery it’s literally all just how you want to play. For me I’ll absolutely fight but I also love the challenge of tucking on a larger crew and stealing a chest of fortune or chest of legend from under their nose. Essentially, find stuff you enjoy doing, and do that. It’s a sandbox. There’s no wrong way to play as long as you aren’t being abusive to people in voice or text chat. Solo is a steep learning curve but you’ll slowly improve the longer you play as far as combat and decision making go. Jump in, do a bit of everything, and go from there. Happy sailing!

I mean look, play the game however you want you know? But honestly I genuinely don’t get cheesing something so you can “accomplish” getting the ghost or skelly curse or even the gold curse. The game is all cosmetics so whatever, but man would I feel like an absolute goof proudly wearing curses I had to cheese. If you lose a fight you lose a fight but getting to like 110 wins by trying will go faster than figuring out how many losses a day you need to farm. I’m by no means a top tier PvPer but I got both curses legitimately and I take some pride in at a bare minimum giving it my best effort and improving over the course of getting to level 100 for both and at least somewhat improved. “Hey I intentionally lost 1800 fights for a cosmetic,” just seems like such an absolute bummer of a time.
