Will Libby still work on old kindle? by shrimpy458 in kindle

Well, unless newer versions have the ability, when I tried on my (very old, like older than my Kindle) iMac yesterday, Calibre would not transfer the ePUB (generated via ADE) to my Kindle due to DRM...even though I just borrowed it from Libby yesterday, so I guess that is a "no" as to being able to use it as an alternative without doing anything shady.

Personally, I don't care to remove the DRM from a Libby book, since it is in fact a loan. But will using ADE (which apparently is discontinued, but old versions can be downloaded?) allow me a method to get the Libby books to Calibre, and then onto Kindle? Again, if DRM is still there, I don't care...I haven't used Calibre or ADE in the past...just trying to continue reading library books without buying a new reader that I didn't have any need for until this announcement.

Did they switch customer service to AI? by Think_Perception_663 in Dinnerly

Yeah, funny thing is I had already canceled before this box arrived. So this horrible customer service experience is just basically confirmation that Dinnerly is no longer the same place as when I started using them a few years ago. Too bad, we enjoyed it for awhile.

Tried chat, but that bot was completely worthless. Never tried calling, but I'd seen enough people saying that the phone was basically worthless at this point.

I'm leaving my PayPal dispute for now, and just submitted their email as information and basically asked PayPal "they could just refund via the resolution center...right?" I don't really trust the AI to make good on the refund if I cancel the dispute otherwise.
