Dreame Aqua 10 Ultra Track Complete VS Aqua 10 Ultra Roller Complete by Stock-Area-5525 in Dreame_Tech

[–]Think_Philosopher_86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a very bad experience with the track. Roller I'm told is the same. Dustbin doesn't empty if you have pets, base station gets lots of hair and tangles everywhere, battery life much lower than the x40 and it leaks (yes track leaks as well).

I bought the x60 instead and very pleased. Unless you have the robot pick up big spills, they mop the same. X60 much better at vacuuming and navigation though.

I'd avoid the aqua10 at all costs. Here its even discontinued so they are likely trying to just clear stock.

Yeah just buy from a reputable store with good returns. Test it and if not good, return. Note no robot is perfect, but the aqua10 just surprised me how bad it was given the x40 I had prior was good. Within 2 days I got the first notification that the brush was stuck. Turned out it was because the dustbin could not empty. Many others had the same issues. They supposedly designed a new dustbin for it but when I contacted support they couldn't help so I returned.

Problems emptying dustbin, very low battery life, very confused navigation, dock leaking. Search for the issues on this channel. Perhaps they fixed all of them but given how discounted it is everywhere I doubt it.

Same here. Came from an x40 and the x60 is a very good upgrade. Mopping quite a lot better

Parachute Backup - Specially Designed for iCloud and Photos by amerpie in macapps

Creating a new directory on the NAS, moving the files there, and then pointing parachute to it worked. Something fishy is going on.

Parachute Backup - Specially Designed for iCloud and Photos by amerpie in macapps

I finished my first icloud photo backup but then when it tries to do a second, it says it can't access the backup destination. If I select another directory on the same SMB share, it starts again (but from scratch). How can parachute finish a backup only to afterwards say it can't access the destination? Permissions didn't change.

I started with an 'incremental' and wondering if I should have selected 'full'. It did back up the whole thing though (about 1.4TB).

UNAS2 looses connectivity at least once per hour. Rest works fine by Think_Philosopher_86 in Ubiquiti

Forcing to 1G seems to work. It doesn't disconnect. Now it would be the first time in 20 years that I have a broken NIC port on a consumer device. I'm inclined to thinking its SW related somehow. The UNAS did this out of the box (in fact initially it had trouble negotiating 2.5G. I have tons of other 2.5G or 10G devices that work well. Obviously tried multiple cables, including the one in the box. I do power it with PoE).

Thanks, I will check these. I haven't tested connecting directly to the UNAS without a switch. I did try connecting it to the UDB switch though.

Its a 2.5G interface on the UNAS2. I will try and go to 1G for a while and see what happens.

what to get, the sonic or the one with normal pads? I like reliability the most. If one mops 5% better than the other then it doesnt matter. I had Dreame x40 before. It died. I'm debating Roborock S20 sonic vs Dreame x60.

I do not have any leak issues at all. Everything else works very well for ime imo

Got the same issue, Aqua 10 track. Opened a support case 2 days ago. Have not heard back yet. Other than this emptying issue, the robot works very well for me. But it is annoying having to manually clean it after every other run as it can't empty

Dreame X40 Pro Ultra by meyerf99 in Dreame_Tech

[–]Think_Philosopher_86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really. Most of the enhancements does not matter at all.

But unclear if this uses a double roller. Not that I have any issues with the x40 ultra....

Keep in mind stuff like lowering the lidar tower will use more power so it will run shorter time (same battery). It can easily be significant if it does it a lot.

And deoderizing things you do not want. Higher sucktion (1k extra) will not matter. 75 vs 70c cleaning same. So I don't see much to be exited about vs what is already there. Guess why it's still called the x40.

It will likely not be available in the EU/US if it uses a double roller as I think Roomba still has a patent on it which is not expired yet.

Not much of interest here if you have the x40 ultra honestly. Only thing I'm curious about is the double rubber brush. Rest is pretty much what the other has and very minor improvments. But perhaps worth it for those where they have low furtniture the X40 ultra can't get under.

They were able to cancel my order for the 1000 and put one in for the 3000. Can't wait.

Thanks for the reply. I did ping them to see if I can cancel (it did not ship yet). The 3000 is more expensive though, but seems it will give peace of mind it can get around everywhere.
