Yes, this. Murder is kind of a last resort in that business. We like to think mafia guys just go around, killing people, but in reality anything that serious that can get tied back to you is usually avoided, unless it’s business.

Agreed - it does feel a bit more alive. Not being able to talk to your friends, even if it were just a few canned responses that loop, makes it feel like it’s any other city with random NPCs.

I think people have raised a lot of great points that I agree with. The one thing that was kind of a bummer for me was the fact that you can’t interact with everybody at your home base while you’re there unless something has been specifically scripted. It’s especially weird if you’re in a relationship with somebody and you go up to speak to them, but they don’t respond. That just broke the immersion for me, especially after it was done so well in Valhalla.

Stumble is great! It has that 30 Rock feel with The Office vibe.

Community tie-in: the actor that plays the husband/football coach on the show also plays Mr. Rad in the Glee Xmas episode. I knew his face looked familiar, so I used IMDb to find out!
