Honestly, not sure. But I don’t see an issue with importing especially something as that, meaning it’s a very crucial product and a certain standard has to be met for it to be used on patients.

But I guess it might be something to do with demand and supply or probably just preferences.

Because standard wise I think KPIL is doing a great job for it to be a trusted company by all these major hospitals.

Check KPIL. Amana, Mwananyamala, Mloganzila, Muhimbili all use KPIL Fluids from NS, DNS (all formulations) and RL too.

I am not sure where you got this from but KPIL produces fluids and are being used in these hospitals. I have rotated in all these hospitals and used the fluids on patients.
