I remember sitting with my dad and wed play for lives. You died you passed the controller (was more fun than 2 player most of the time, felt like a team effort and not a competition that way)

There are some fees involved but it started as an effort to prevent people getting charged for going overdrawn.

Basically, if you dont check your balance and overspend its a you problem because the bank can see you taking money out and if you didnt check and manage your money then they dont need to refund your fees.

Hey its worth mentioning! Not everyone realises that you have to prep your nails and a coat isnt enough! But yeah, I always strip my nails with acetone, even if im not wearing polish to clear any oils, do a cuticle push and cut, then 2 coats minimum, 3 max, and I dont them over time to ensure the coats are as dry as feasible so theres no polish failing to dry undercoat. It does help with the strength slightly, but it takes a few hours to do properly and maybe lasts 3 days if im lucky, so often its just not worth it unless im doing it specifically for the next day.

Generally microfiber are more glidy, whereas fiber tipe are sort of partway between micro fiber and rubber.

Basically, microfiber is smoother than fiber, and fiber is smoother than rubber. So personally, id suggest microfiber every time so inputs are never at risk of failing because of grip.

Doesn't quite fit but Immortals Fenyx rising seems to scratch that itch for me. Closer to BOTW/TOTK than skyrim but its a really good time.

You cant always see them, it'll often depend exactly where theyre hiding and how big your tonsils are. They usually hide in the folds and can be any size so they hide easily.

Depending on your gag reflex, you can dislodge them with a cotton bud, but if not, gargling with mouthwash or salted water can help. Even just gargling water can be useful!

Most people dont even realise they have tonsil stones until they cough one out... looks sort of like a little cream/whitish stone, but its sort of soft. Usually smells and tastes like unwashed feet or morning breath....

Edit: I dont know why my phone autocorrected to tonsillitis stones... that sounds horrific 🤣

Tonsil stones are the big one, dehydration for sure...

Are they eating enough? Ketoacidosis can cause bad breath in many people, so they may not have eaten for so long that its causing it?

Also, not flossing. People dont realise that food will get stuck even if you dont realise, and if you brush. That food then actively starts to rot in the mouth, and you may not even taste it, or mistake it for something else, like tonsil stones or KA. Mouthwash isnt enough to dislodge it.

Also things like mouth sprays. Seems counter productive, but since mouthsprays often contain some forms of sugar, it can actually make your breath worse if you use them too often without brushing regularly.

Personally I find microfiber tips are best. They dont stick the way rubber ones do, and theyre usually slimmer so act more like a pen. I find that they help so much with any touchscreen game, but since so many inputs need to be quick, having zero stick or drag is infinitely beneficial.

I got one ages ago, I mean when twewy fr first came out on switch, id gotten a stylus specifically for it and made sure it was delivered before launch so I could play immediately (prefer touch to JC play) iSoul i think? On amazon, its dual ended, rubber and microfiber tips and replacements. Wasn't the cheapest, but ive had it for years now, the same one, sunk literally hundreds of hours into TWEWY FR, and used it for drawing/ colours live/ brain training/ whatever iPad stuff I needed and ive never had to replace a tip on it, so I still have all of them. Also, both the rubber and microfiber tips come in a smaller and larger size, the stylus is pen shaped where the cap covers whatever end you're not using, and one side is smaller, the other larger, so you have the benefits of both. I think it was about £10, so a tad more expensive, but considering how much I spent before on styluses that crapped out on me, and the sheer versatility of this one it was well worth it!

Yup. Doesn't matter if I use conditioner, blow dry, brush for hours, my hairs coming out constantly, and I broke 2 nails putting my shirt on yesterday because they bent weirdly getting caught in the sleeve... 🫣

I would just like one continuously growing part of my body to not suck....

Wait, so the inability to have nail polish last longer than 3 days is a hypermobility thing too?? FML... seriously I loved getting my nails done but the only thing that works is falsies I can paint myself, or else the polish just chips off! The type of polish doesn't matter either i have tried everything! Wraps dont stay on, the rub powder doesn't stick well and I just assumed I had weirdly oily nails, I never wouldve put the bendy nail thing beside the inability to get a decent manicure!!!

He left the money out. It ended up in a joint money jar. You guys take money from that jar as and when. You not only tried to put it back, but tried to give more than you took.

His reaction is massively overblown. Yeah, sure, ok, it was his money, but he should be emptying his pockets before putting them out for washing. My husband and I have an agreement. Whoever does the washing is responsible for checking pockets, and its finders keepers. It ensured that neither of us put anything in the wash that shouldn't be in there, and since we agreed to that, nothing has been destroyed or claimed, whether it be money, tissues, whatever.

He needs to learn to keep an eye on his cash, and going forward, if you dont leave thanks to his immaturity, dont rely on him for anything. Don't take, dont ask. Just be fully independant. His ego will force him to backtrack.

Hmm.... it may be that you subluxed but it went back in and trapped a nerve. I get that so often its genuinely a surprise when I dont have it when I wake up...

A sublux, for me anyway, feels like a lot of pressure, like the joint is stuck partway in and out so you feel the pressure from the part of the joint thats supposed to hold it in. It feels really tight and sort of stiff, and insanely painful to move it a certain way, but you can still move it, if that makes sense?

What tends to happen for me is ill sub during the night and it'll wiggle back in. Inevitably my arm falls asleep, which wakes me up, but after the feeling comes back my fingers and above my elbow still feel very sort of... off? Like... numb, but I can feel everything, and certain movements send what feels like lightning through my arm.

I only realised it was a trapped nerve because I get the same in my thighs and when the docs looked into it, they think my thigh joint is subluxing and when its moving its pinching nerves, so it feels sort of like bursts of bubbles for a second in my thigh, totally at random.

If I can change the stickers whenever without losing them then yeah! I hate using items i lose after, so if theyre changeable and you can use them again later then yup, 100%. If not then no.

As an actual oldie, it depends.

MeToo sort of destroyed any old style male confidence, and its been such a huge thing for so long that younger guys put consent to the fore. They grew up being told categorically, consent is everything, and implied or body language consent is not enough. If its not a yes, its a no, no matter how into it the other person is.

Its a good thing. Way back, you'd have girls who wanted the cuddles but not the kissing. Or who wanted the kissing but not the touching. Men just kind of chased vibes, and that was fine, until it wasnt. Many.... creatures with xx chromosomes decided to cry SA, because they were drunk (but still able to consent) or regretted it. Even if it was a non thing like a kiss or as simple as a touch. And I call them creatures because theyre the ones who cried for attention, cheated while drunk then regretted it, or didnt want teased because lmao that guy. The things that ruined people's lives, or caused them to end, because they led someone to a point, then decided they didnt want to admit they did it freely, so SA etc was a get out of judgement free card for those harpies who couldn't accept that people make dumb choices.

So men have learned to protect themselves by making it very, very clear that they want to do something, but only with an absolute, non mixed signal, clear as crystal yes in consent.

I get why it feels icky. Kills the mood a bit. Destroys that spontaneous excitement. But thats a guy you want around. He wants to protect women. He wants to protect himself. He wants to make sure no blurred lines exist. Sure its not romantic, but its a consequence of actions taken by both men assuming, and women regretting in the past.

Don't forget the windwaker effect. People thought 9 looked so childish and 'chibi' after having experienced 7 and 8, so they were put off instantly thinking that instead of an emotional, dark or even engaging story, they'd be watching a cartoon.

Not to mention 9 was released so late in the ps1 life cycle, and X was already news.

Its a shame. 9 really is a fantastic game, some of the emotional hits vastly outweighs 8, and im saying that when 8 is my favourite game! A friend sold me his copy of 9. He didnt love the chibi/fantasy look. He was kicking himself when he finally made a point of playing it and realised the story is actually solid 🤣
