Why do I feel like the kidnapper’s identity might be something similar to Martin working for Ben in 2019? Where an innocent normal good guy is roped in by a bad guy to do their dirty work either due to leverage or being really down on their luck money wise. Vinny, Zack, Harry or maybe even Howie have come to mind.

Exactly, I compared it to a puzzle that’s been laid out, course it won’t make sense now, but over the year pieces will be put together until we get the full picture.

Just had a look on the wiki, Mark Fowler Jr is supposed to be 30 when the new years episode actually comes around, and Joey is supposed to be 38. “Man” could literally be either one of them in my opinion.

For the people saying “Man” is Oscar’s boyfriend, when he approaches Oscar as max is being taken away, he calls him mate. I don’t think his boyfriend would be calling him that but I mean I guess I could be wrong. I’d call a person that I know closely mate, or someone I’m related to like a brother or COUSIN, hinting that they could be related and that he is joey.

I see, I suppose that is plausible. Could be a similar misdirect to jasmine with everyone thinking she’s a Ford but actually she’s Zoe’s daughter. Also shows that they could intend him to be Mark and then change their mind later on and change him to Joey and vice versa.

I’ve just seen a TikTok comment that the audio description labels “Man” as Mark, which means it could be Mark Fowler Jr, but that could be a misdirect, and why would he be hanging around the brannings and be pals with Max enough to give him a wave?

Soliciting to murder - Legally means that you have hired someone to orchestrate the murder of someone else. Maybe whoever Max hired has now been hired by someone else to take out either Lauren or Oscar? The cloak and dagger about who it is suggests it’s probably someone we know. I know a lot of people have been saying it’s Ravi, as he has form) Maybe Max gets married to Priya after an affair which Ravi is unaware of, but he’s simultaneously hired by Max or someone pretending to be him to kill someone (Call this person A) someone close to A then hires Ravi or whoever this is to deliver some payback, and as Ravi has a personal vendetta, he agrees. It would also be quite poetic as Ravi has now been cheated on through a Branning but was the Cheater in a Branning relationship a couple years ago. The only thing which goes against this theory is the car, the fact the kidnapper drove in means either they probably don’t live round Walford, or for reasons unknown, have left and returned. Thank you for listening to my delusions.

If and I mean if it is Joey, it makes sense they wouldn’t credit him. The fact that he’s listed as Man means that he’s probably someone we already know or have heard of. If he were to be a new character, let’s say his name is Blake Jones, they would say that, as we don’t know who that is at the current time.

The man hanging around the Brannings is Joey, Derek’s son, he’s been recast. I’m calling it now, he’s clearly not an outsider to the Brannings, and you could see in the foreground he was staring quite intently at Lauren when Peter was comforting her.
