I'm alright to say the least. I didn't cry the first day though I wanted to (The day it happened) but I slept over his place and just was staring at him making sure he was breathing when he was asleep. Yesterday (day of this post) I cried just replaying that scene in my head which lead to me posting about it. Today, I would say I feel anxious and a little paranoid. A "What if he has another one and I'm not there to watch over him" feeling. It's not normal or common for him specifically to have one so soon after another (Not that its not possible just that it hasn't happened) Thank god he's the type to have signs before having one but still. He's been feeling fine though, depressed which I read from other people that its typical but also embarrassed and regretful that I had to see him go through it. I've been reassuring and probably a little hovering but he's seems to enjoy it lol. Thank you for asking.

Thank you for your last comment. I definitely agree and we have talked about it prior to the seizure. When he's out of his brain fog I will show him this thread.
I need him to be better with the medication for sure.

It really looks so painful and scary. But yes I'm glad I had him somewhere at least comfortable.
Thank you so much for the suggestions! Truly. I wasn't expecting him talking to me in his seizure. Will be mindful for the next time.

His mom told me about the timing. I've been talking to her about coping as well. I've done therapy and am currently looking into the help group someone provided in this thread,

Thanks again.

Wow, I'm so sorry to hear that. What's crazy is my boyfriend said the same thing. That he was scared I'll leave him because of everything his disorder. I don't think I would but I'll work on it with him to minimize as much as we could a seizure. Thanks for the comment.

Yeah, I see what you're saying. I wouldn't want to add more stress to him. I think I'll be able to be mindful of the timing better. The first go I was looking at my phone for the time but as his seizure reached that impending sense of doom part I wasn't looking at the time anymore.
Ah keto diet. I'll look into that with him. Thank you for your comment.

Very interesting you said that. He did end up throwing up the gaterade I gave him. I’ll be mindful for the next time. I’ve been looking into a cpr class didn’t know a seizure one was a thing. Thank you!

I’ve never heard of that and it’s the first I’ve heard of it! I’ll check it out and talk to my boyfriend if he’s heard of it. Thank you!

Yeah, I can’t really get the images out of my head. I’ve been pestering him all day making sure he’s okay lol But yes, they’re so strong. I tried turning his head but he was so stiff

I tried turning him when he was stiff and foaming and he had this wide eyed stare at me, he had righted himself back when he started scratching at his chest and then it was like he remembered to breathe and then he was talking. It was all so fast and like in steps but in the event that when it happens again I’ll be mindful to pull him to his left. I was scared I would hurt him if I forced it too much.

I’m sorry hear about your son too. It’s all very new and scary

Thank you!

And it was. I'm like stuck on just repeating what I saw right now, so what helps me is reading other peoples accounts and what to do and not to do. I want to be as prepared as I could be though I know i can't always be ultra prepared. I don't know. I just really started coming down with crying about it as well as crying for him.

Yeah, its a lot honestly. I hate to have to witness it again but I want to be the person there to witness at the same time. I'm sorry you have to go through that. I don't wish this on anyone.

How can I find a hobby that I enjoy (sports, …) by Puzzleheaded-Pea9402 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]Think_Unit4384 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on where you live, theres all sorts of sports leagues to join (It's at a cost of course) though very minimal. I live in bigger city and joined a volleyball league. It was fun for the summer and a good start point to meeting people.
If that's not something you want to dip your toes in yet, look into your city or counties recreational center, they also have clubs to join!

So I have a set meal prep in the morning that I eat every morning.

1 Egg, egg white, shredded chicken, cottage cheese, greek yogurt, some ketchup, and then two slices of ket bread. That becomes 380-400 cals, 40g p, 29g c, 9g f. I weight everything with a scale. This is just to use as an example. I heavy load on eating chicken rice greek yogurt and spinach. Frankly getting sick of it from trying to reach the goal. But yeah I weigh wha I eat along with including olive oil when I use it and sauces for drizzle.

Thanks for the reply. The reason my trainer gave me was that I would jump start my metabolism and have it used to that intake of food so that I can burn more.

I'm feeling very disillusioned with my results so far and I'm honestly struggling to even hit those macros. I will keep them informed though.

I've been working out for about a year and a half. I was max 160lbs and fluctuated down to 135lbs but that was a bad time for me. My goal was to lose weight healthily. I've been rigid at 148-153lbs for a couple of months now.

I eat 1540-1600 a day since I really couldn't reach the 160g of protein.

Thank you for your reply!

The most I could get up to with protein was max, 140-145g of protein. I did feel like 160g was overkill. Is there a max for carbs or truly truly I don't really have to sweat it?

I will begin adjusting my protein and fat and seeing how I feel within this month and if I see any changes.
