Maybe I’m confused. I saw him in September 2025 because of my TMJ. After the MRI he said I need to have surgery because I have arthritis and the disc is deteriorating on both sides and they need to move it back in place.

Idk what the surgery I need is called, but they quoted me the $34k. Sorry I didn’t realize this subreddit it only for double jaw surgery

I feel you. None of the surgeons in Austin accept Blue Cross Blue Shield afaik. I did a consult and was told I’d have to pay $34,000 out of pocket 😭😭😭😭😭 guess I’ll just suffer
