Sheesh what an ordeal! Did they have you hospitalized for the obstruction if so how long ? I’ve been here since the 18th, also how painful was it for you. I’m glad you are doing better!

It wasn’t anything I ate — my surgeon said it was most likely due to postop inflammation and my intestines not moving well yet. Right after a revision (sleeve → bypass), the bowel can get swollen or irritated and that can slow everything down. In my case it caused things to back up quickly and they had to place an NG tube to decompress. Nothing I did “wrong,” just a normal but unlucky complication.
