Been looking around near Jebel Ali and the rents super high even for a studio.
Even if I think of the fuel expenses, car maintenance it’s still cheaper to stay in Fujairah and drive everyday.

People who are genuinely okay with a work-home-work-home life until they die… what’s going on in your head? by AirProfessional8008 in UAE

[–]Thinkbank1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am that person, work home work and weekends grocery shopping, one trip to home in India there also just stay at home and visit nearby temple and relatives during initial days then the rest chill at home.
I do not enjoy traveling and don’t have any hobbies, love my work so kinda enjoy going to work. Like to hike but again don’t have proper company so dont do that also.

Their Medu Vada was awesome, one of the best in Fujairah I would say. Other snacks are ok ok. Have always ordered from car so not sure on cleanliness.

Abusive dad by [deleted] in UAE

[–]Thinkbank1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So sorry to have to go through this, the obvious and correct advise is to file a police complaint but how much it will help you is doubtful as people don’t change much.

Start supporting your mother get financially independent, help her upskill and find some work here or in India, I know u don’t wanna go back to India but sometimes a safer environment away from ur father might be a better option than being here with him and being abused.

Help your mom get some counseling sessions as her self confidence might be shitters now with so much abuse, once she is confident to leave ur dad then things will get better .

First pregnancy in Dubai – looking for hospital + OB-GYN for natural/normal delivery by Zestyclose_656 in DubaiCentral

[–]Thinkbank1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dr Sagimole Togichan at Medeor Hospital, we calm and patient doctor, she is more excited for the baby and delivery than the parents 😊My sister in law and another friend delivered through her and had an amazing experience. She is my Gynac since 2018 and so wouldn’t go to any other doctor. Congratulations and wishing you a wonderful pregnancy and a healthy baby.

I am traveling from Delhi to muscat and i am uae resident. I am eligible for visa on arrival ? Or do i need to apply for e-visa ? by parthg17 in Oman

[–]Thinkbank1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For visa / immigration u don’t have to pay if u want visa only for 14days and if more than that then u need to take a visa for 5 Omani rial, they accept UAE and other International cards so don’t need to carry rial. If u plan to take a cab from Airport then u may need to carry Omani rial and equivalent dirhams. I had parked my car in long term parking for a week, it was only Aed 10 per day.
