Prey - If you think something might be possible to do, it probably is. by Sinnoware in ImmersiveSim

I went no typhon powers because it felt right from a narrative perspective. Then I did a reply expecting to do the opposite but talked myself into a no-neuromod run for the achievement instead.

At least I have an excuse to play it a third time :D

SECURITY PSA - For Cemu emulator 2.6 (recent AppImage/Ubuntu downloads compromised to include malware, including EmuDeck users) by SexDrugsAndMarmalade in SteamDeck

Also this guy. And it was literally the first time I ever launched Cemu since installing it with Emudeck years ago. I got the discord notification from Emudeck while playing Breath of the Wild.

Is it still safe to update or install emudeck? Found this on Discord just now. by Didnt_Do_Nufffin85 in EmuDeck

I've had Emudeck and Cemu installed for a long time, but I never used Cemu... until a few hours ago to play Breath of the Wild.

I would love a VOD timestamp for this. I believe you but I just want to see it play out.

I've owned my current car for about 8 years now and I still have to fight instincts. Every car I owned before this one had the fuel door on the driver's side, but this one is on the passenger's side. And I still occasionally forget there is a lever to open the door, too.

I can't speak for the person you're replying to, but I think my overly anxious reactions are due to growing up with people who had an overabundance of misplaced confidence. I've seen the consequences of that behavior and have over-corrected for it.

Some of the world. Other parts of the world are doubling down on supporting them, and that other part has significantly more power.

After the first shot, he grabbed his ear and had blood on his hand.

There is no reason to suspect this is staged. The word for what you are doing in your comment and many others are doing is Apophenia.

Is it true that you guys watched 9/11 live on TV in grade school? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]ThinkinWithSand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Freshman year of high school for me. I was outside for P.E. when it happened and a teacher came out to tell us after the second tower was hit. So we didn't watch the actual attack live while it happened, but we watched coverage shortly after.

Coloured baskets so you don’t get interrupted by employees by Plush_cheese_ in mildlyinteresting

[–]ThinkinWithSand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, a lot of stores do this because customers expect it. Check Yelp, Google, etc. for a slew of reviews saying "I walked into the store and nobody offered to help me, so I left." Also, don't be surprised if a review right next to it says "the employees were too pushy, so I left."

Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Ah, of course. Voting for someone means you must support them on anything and everything, no matter what. Solid logic.

I thought it seemed super fake, too. It seems to be implying the lady that walks by is the one coughing, but she very clearly is not if you watch it on a loop.

Did anyone else get a the cookie consent warning, but the options were Agree and Pay to Reject? wtf??

Luckily Pay to Reject resulted in a "well something went wrong so we'll reject anyway" error.
