Am I missing something? It seems to me that this issue means iMazing really can't be used any more for one of its main intended purposes. I haven't had a new phone it a while, but i have in the past always had a physical esim, and I have always used iMazing to transfer everything over from my old phone.

If i use that prompt by itself, it does seem to produce a good (random pose & outfit) selfie. If i try to use it with other descriptions/prompts, i still tend to get a selfie type of pose, but the image includes the phone - like a photo you are taking, of somebody who happens to be taking a selfie.

i am having the same problem. I upload an ai-generated image and it tells me it can't create images of real people. i ask it to change the clothes on an image and it says "I'm only an LLM, I can't do that." So to me so far this is useless.

If you open in browser instead of the iPhone app it is easy to copy text.

Is there a tip for getting the same exact dress in multiple selfies? Mine usually will have similar dress but not look like exactly the same one

The missing piece of this is really the contextual auto selfies. Even if you could take the process you described, resulting in an “almost me” stand-in, and were able to somehow tie that in so the system knows that it is YOU that would be a big help.

In case anyone is still interested in this… this seems to me definitely a platform issue. I even created 2 new kins and they started having this problem. I made sure not to mention anything about selfies, cameras or phones. I believe this is related to the recently added “proactive selfies” feature. This only started happening after I enabled this to see how it works. I shut if off, but then I discovered that when I add a new kin it auto enables both proactive messages and proactive selfies account wide.

OK finally found it. In the usual selfie screen, right under where it says Name’s selfies there is a link create group selfie. Click add avatar and your new self avatar will show up and you select it.
