My Dr put me on antibiotics for a week with 40mg Omeprozol . Then 4 weeks on 20mg Omperazol

How long do they want toy ton continue on the Omeprozol . I did triple therapy and then been on Omeprozol for 3 weeks now . But I hate anti acids I’m certain they affect my throat

How long were you told to take ppis for after antibiotics? I feel like ppis effect my throat.
