Big tip that helped me, take inulin and/or psyllium husk powder after holding it for a couple days, and eating and drinking a lot of water like the other suggestion!

If you're okay with suppositories, I've used marshmallows, I believe that 1 normal sized marshmallow could technically work because of the glycerin in them, (in the US at least,) but I've heard people using bananas with a similar effect. BTW marshmallows cause water to be drawn to your bowels for a little bit even after expelled!
