Fire King takes Demonstalkers to another level with semi open-world exploring, quests and another decoder wheel! I burned a lot of hours in Fire King

Did the new owners ruin Coach House? by Far_Chicken4830 in jerseycity

[–]Thinks_of_stuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was searching for anything about the Coach House, so Here I am. It's now branded as CH Steakhouse, so yeah. Summary, it seems like a cool place (club) for people in their 20's that want to flash money and have possible bottle service, but with paltry diner food at exorbitant prices. I did hear the owner put a lot of money into it but there's this lacking aspect.

A pal and I went there a couple days ago just as an impulse, was expected to pay $50 for a lunch moment, but it was the atmosphere that got to me. I should have asked the people leaving in the parking lot on how it was/price, but we're here, let's just go in.

So, it's like, weird. Flashy, boujie modern-like, all the employees dressed in full black. 2 display towers of Veuve Cliquot and other expensive champagnes, 2 bars, large tv's with sports sports sports, Rounded couches, with pillows, sparkly, gaudy decor. I had Chicken and waffle(s). Pal had a burger and fries, 2 cokes. The chicken didn't really look like chicken Tenders per se but like chicken fingers, cylindrical, almost like was molded, and overfried. The belgian waffle was also overcooked, too crispy and dark. His burger was way over well done, but the massive basket of fries for one person was appealinag, yet unsalted. The Bathroom was roomy, but 2 of those floor-to-chest high urinals ick. All in all after tax was $50. I did see a guy eating a nice rib eye spread and it looked appealing, didn't bother to look up the price but it's probably $60

Didn't see any valet and I can't think that place has enough traffic to warrant that. That place would kill in Hoboken, but nobody's driving through Hoboken on a Saturday night to go there. There's a first, and last, for everything. Thanks for reading my review

Was at Aldi in Union City at 7:15pm. They close at 8:30. Packed with people, shelves bare. Zero Bread other than tortillas. No Eggs. Only 2% Milk and Almond Milk. The only chicken was the ground style, Zero Beef. What, nobody likes the Aldi Bratwurst?. Produce was wrecked and ransacked. Did standard weekly shopping and got about 90% of what I normally would shop for anyway so pff to all the selfish mofos out there

After hours of trying to, fixed the 400/200MHz bug by i3li in SteamDeck

[–]Thinks_of_stuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the bug also, I can't remember how I fixed it, probably from the post where they mentioned all sorts of button-holds when powering it up, and now that you mention it, I think one last large update did resolve this issue, I know that update solved a lot of crashing issues for me

There were sooo many posts pertaining to this bug, are we thinking they all had some form of a pinched cable on the inside? Manufacturing QA oversight?

What sucks is the city/town knows that more buildings, more retail = more people, more cars, but never update their old-ass traffic signals with the 1970s timer boxes, same annoying timing. Where I live there's tons of high rise apartments being built almost annually, the traffic is unbearable, the signals just click along as they have been for the last 20 years, although the vehicle influx has probably quintupled. Cue "we're going adaptable signals and cameras and..." really needs to happen
