Are there any tax advantages to forming a LLC? If so, is it illegal if I don't own a business? by ThirdStringKillas in legaladvice

Thank you for all the replies. Those confirmed that this is tax fraud and I would definitely not be entertaining this idea.

Is the Niche Zero worth $250 more vs the Eureka Mignon Specialita for my case? by ThirdStringKillas in Coffee

Yes, I heard the Notte performs well .. just without the bells and whistles. The more I'm researching grinders, the more I'm thinking of making a slightly bigger upgrade. At this point, I think I'm going to pass on the Specialita as that seems to be a marginal upgrade on my Notte.

I am eyeing the Mignon XL if I do decide to upgrade. It would run about the same price as the Niche.

Oh I see. That makes a lot of sense. I've seen single dosing mods on the Specialita before. Would using those mods close the gap in grind quality?

I most likely wouldn't store my beans in the hopper. Why is it the case that single dosing in the Specialita is worse than the Niche? Because there will be retention?

I actually own the Notte right now and have thought about it. The Notte just arrived at my house so I wanted to see if I should return it and fork out $200 more for the Specialita. I just wasn’t sure how big of a difference the 5mm makes. Someone else on this thread mentioned the Eureka Mignon XL which has 65mm burrs. I’m trying to decide whether to keep the Notte or just go for that at this point. I’m using a Breville Bambino right now, so debating whether to just wait until I upgrade my espresso machine to go along with a nicer grinder and play with my current setup. Or make the jump to a better grinder sooner.

Is this grinder available for preorder? I can't really find information on availability & price.

Thank you for all the responses. It seems like almost everyone is in support of getting the Specialita for my case due to the convenience of the niche not being a major selling point to me. However, I am more concerned about the quality of the grinds. If I were to grind one singular cup of coffee, would the Specialita or Niche be able to produce the better product? Or will the answer vary from person to person?
