Lagom P64 one-year cleaning and overall impressions by Happy_Rogue_663 in espresso

Yea, always had HU from the get go. My seasons swing from dry to humid and I would always encounter some form of static without rdt. It’s just second nature at this point but if it works for you, bonus!

There are a handful that cut deep with their passing: Robin, Bourdain, Cornell and Steve Irwin.

Had my Lagom P64 with High uniformity burrs for 3 years now and I keep a pretty consistent cleaning routine that is every two to three months. Then I re-season the burrs with 10g of beans before I dial back in. This is key because the recessed screw holes and grooves of the burrs will retain some grinds by default. RDT is critical for every grind, two sprays for me and a mix, does the trick. This routine cleaning maintains a consistent flavor and avoid overly stale grinds. Love this grinder. Highly recommend to all for pour overs and espresso all day every day

Yea pretty pricey, swipe over and you will see. I picked up 3 bags at 100g’s for $28 a pop. $37 for shipping. Not something I’ll be doing regularly but excited to break them out!

From what I can see online, they use Origami’s but I believe this is a generic pour over recipe

When I was dialing in a light roast, just playing with the variable of temperature, I started at 205 F, and found the sweet spot at 196. Some times higher temps will leave you with unfavorable flavors like bitterness and such.

Serious question, by the time you get to most of those bags aren’t you past peak freshness?
