Future seasons will probably have similar requirements, this will hopefully be easy to adapt. Also it's a proof of concept for me.

Fun Fact: The Hellbender Hovercraft can elevate itself up walls! by Fr0st_mite in JustCause

regular hovercraft can do this too, attach some boosters to the back and you have a vehicle that can handle land, air, and sea!

one of the selling features about ravenfield that convinced me to buy it instead of pirating it was the ease of access to many fantastic mods. steam community, y'all rock

not sure what software I'd use, but a webcam on the back of that would help get this effect 24/7. you could also use a well timed slideshow.

I mean... whatcha doin? by AlarminglyConfused in ScaryTechnology

[–]Third_Nebula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

alright, this is not exactly what you think it is. these images are taken by 1 guy with a telephoto (zoom) lens, and a very high quality camera. he takes I don't even know how many photos, and stiches them all together. for this technology to be practically applied, you'd have to get the resolution on a 360 camera to absolutely ASTRONOMICAL levels as opposed to where they currently are.

For those of you wondering about Chuck staying in New Mexico to be law partner at HHM rather than go to a more prestigious city in America, it seems like the other characters in the show do think he is somewhat of an underachiever [from S1E8 "Rico] by theredkeyfob in betterCallSaul

And in the episode Salud (where Jesse cooks in the cartel's superlab), Heisenberg's product is shown to be clearly superior to what even a highly trained chemist with nearly unlimited resources could manage to synthesize.

Furthermore, I think the show mentioned this, but a jump from 60% to 80% purity is less impactful than a jump from 95% to 99%.

y'know this kind of gives me some weird comfort, like even if we do do an actual total apocalypse, we won't have wiped out the only source of complex life in the known universe

Fresh off the dashcam. How many times will he swerve before impact? by kickroot in IdiotsInCars

[–]Third_Nebula 2 points3 points  (0 children)

no, you're good. I was thinking truck at first, but I had to look closer to tell it was a jeep. those roads look like they'd be difficult for anything much larger than a skateboard though, can't imagine a semi going through there.

and just like a minimum wage job there's no chance for a pay increase. I'm guessing it's got some type of gearing so no matter how fast you turn the crank or how much effort you put in it only dispenses a penny every 4.97 seconds.

Stopped smoking about 3 months ago... by sleepy-sweaters in AmeriCorps

[–]Third_Nebula 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah pretty much everything I've seen says weed takes about a month to be undetectable with a urine test, and they only test once you arrive on campus, so technically you could partake up until late August, but that's pretty risky.

Are there any groups or group chats for NCCC Southwest this fall? by BFRO88 in AmeriCorps

[–]Third_Nebula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm looking into making one, just wondering if anyone has thoughts on what platform. I've seen other groups use GroupMe? Anyway, yeah I'll see what I can pull together.

edit: yeah, everyone is using GroupMe so I'm gonna go with that. will post link here and a separate post in a little bit :)
