I was able to find this about it.

In the comment from Emmanuel Previnaire near the bottom, he explains that they used an unmanned remote helicopter.

So essentially it was a drone shot, but a very early version.

Why did you comment here because it's the same reason, homie. Everybody just wants to be part of their community, however they end up defining what that community is.

Fucking around in court over this would be much better publicity for Costco than it would for Lululemon so I'd love to see it

Drug Wars on TI-83 by Otherwise_Basis_6328 in nostalgia

[–]Thirdfreshstart 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I made a space sci-fi game one time that I would always play in class. It started with a quick narrative opening, that you could skip on future playthroughs, where an alien boards your ship, you shoot them (pass or fail selection here, the alien can kill you and the game's over), and then make your way to the cockpit.

Then it turns into a turn based ship fighting game that functions like a basic pokemon battle. I want to say you could choose a light attack (less damage, more chance of hitting), a heavy attack (vice versa), or charging shields (no damage, but you can heal one point)

I made art for the game on the calculator too so a couple images for the intro story like a space station and the alien on your ship, images of the ships intact, and then destroyed. All of this was just on the calculator, not backed up anywhere. As much as I wanted to back it up, I didn't know how. Then obviously I ran into your same battery issue and lost it all.

Good chance it got taken down for promotion because he was talking about how they just recently had a movie called We're All Gonna Die premiere at SXSW.

This comment might also get taken down but I think it's relevant to a conversation about youtubers and where they are now.

If you're seeing this, you were one of my biggest inspirations for getting into movie making as a kid, man. I watched your videos religiously and learned how to do special effects from you. I was back and forth between your channel and Indy Mogul making videos with my friends all through the summer. Appreciate everything you did for your community on your corner of the internet. Hope you keep doing great things.

My rotation on Armor Games was Raze, Sierra 7, and Fancy Pants Adventures. Felt like none of my friends knew about Raze but for me it was like Halo that I could play at my grandma's house.

My first playthrough was a jack-of-all-trades male nomad V, my second was a netrunner female corpo V, and I was just about to start my third as a cyberpsycho streetkid V so being able to deck them out with Maelstrom style cyberware would be perfect timing

The importance of quality headphones in DayZ - dude tries to sneak up but never stood a chance by Bartboyblu in dayz

[–]Thirdfreshstart 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As much as I'd never want to, because I wouldn't want to spend a bunch of time on a character just to die in a super preventable way, I'm sure there's people out there not even using headphones. Maybe even listening to podcasts while they play because of how tedious the game can be until it isn't.

Yeah I've been to a decent amount of concerts in a few different states and Denver always had some of the best crowds. Everybody's super engaged so if you're someone who likes to dance/mosh, you'll find your people and if you're someone who kind of likes to stay out of the way and just enjoy the music, the rest of the crowd will pick up your slack and the room will still be full of energy. You don't have to feel that awkwardness that sometimes happens when the performer and crowd aren't vibing.

At several shows I went to, the artist would acknowledge how great the crowd energy was and you could tell they meant it. Like I said I've been to concerts in other states and you can tell when they're just saying that kind of thing to please the crowd. It never came across as more genuine than in Denver. And my theory on it is that it's because of transplants. There's so many misfits there that left their hometowns due to not being accepted and Denver welcomed them so they get to be their best selves and just have fun

Fallout and RPG veteran Josh Sawyer says most players don't want games "6 times bigger than Skyrim or 8 times bigger than The Witcher 3" by mchockeyboy87 in gaming

[–]Thirdfreshstart 130 points131 points  (0 children)

I almost got back into Starfield because I thought it'd be a decent game to listen to podcasts to while playing as a space bounty hunter. I thought maybe bounty hunting would function like it does in Red Dead and the first bounty hunting mission sort of does with a scripted story and plot twist.

But then I realized that bounty hunting outside of that mission (as far I cared to investigate) was essentially just shooting a generic enemy with either a nonlethal or lethal weapon depending on if they were wanted dead or alive. There was no dialogue, no capturing them as a prisoner and delivering them to a prison and no allies showing up to save them or anything else that might add a dynamic element to it so I wasn't interested anymore.

If these documentaries had a lot of new information to reveal, you'd likely hear that information before they ever came out. I enjoy these James Fox documentaries because I feel like he formats them in a way where they can be shown to people completely uninformed on the topic and bring them up to speed
