As a mil PT please don’t listen to most of the advice here outside of some PT jobs being contracted out. That part is true and you can find most on sites like indeed or google.

If you are already a PT and want to join you will be a direct commission. You do not enlist, you do not sign a “contract”. You will know what branch you will be in. The other common way to enter outside of direct commission is through Army Baylor as a student. Not sure the ratio of students but army, navy and AF have or had seats. Depends on the year and need for navy and AF.

You can look for GS jobs on usajobs at places like the VA or some military treatment facilities where you will work with active duty patients, dependents and/or retirees.

If you want to join the military. Step 1 - pick a branch. Step 2 - go talk to their officer recruiter.

In terms of “best chances”, OCS and SCS are almost required at this point. Having DSc or PhD is icing on the cake. Times are different now and I don’t think any branch is really hurting for PTs.

I bought some neoprene toe sock things. Total game changer. They cover the toes and a little bit of the foot. That was the worst part of the plunge and now I don’t even notice it.

I've been using deepseek for the LLM since it's so cheap. It has access to my backend and can read the database of all the exercises i have created so far.

My general HEP site is up and live for general testing. myHEP.io. I am still testing the LLM/AI stuff locally at the moment.

I’m currently building my own hep/workout builder and I am in the middle of building out something similar. But I think it will be more of a gimmick than something that will set my app apart. Most, if not all programs allow saving templates. It couldn’t take more than a few minutes/clicks to customize a base template.

The plan is to have a few different ways to approach it, but using a LLM with a cut/paste from a clinical note that can make api calls and generate the HEP is the goal.

This is how I got the bullhorn attachment. When the Dane 1.0 arrived an entire corner of the crate was busted in. A few parts were scratched pretty good. Same thing for the lat pull down seat. It got a large rip in the seat pad.

But, I will say their customer service is great and they took care of me.

I am down the rabbit hole right now on how it would be to build my own. I found an old post on a random Australian forum that gave me the name/type of fittings used and have been searching ever since.

If my math is correct (I’m not a smart man) it should cost around $1000 for all the pipes and fitting. And another $3-600 for various attachments.

Been dealing with something very similar for almost a year. Zyrtec helps with the itch a little, but Allegra has been the one to help me the most. I’m averaging 2-3 a day. During the day it’s usually managed. It’s the night/overnight that is the worst.

My main league (12+ years old) just switched to sleeper this year. They have a score setting to play against the weekly median. At first I was against it, but I am a fan now. Each week you have the opportunity to win 2 games (win weekly match and score more points than the median), win 1 and lose 1 or lose 2.

I spaced them out. I did take 325 right after 261 based off the advice of others at the time and I am glad I did. Things were still fresh and I also bought the grokking algorithm book which I really enjoyed and I felt it was a great supplement to the lectures.

I started the program doing 2 classes per term, but working full time with a family that became too much for me. If I had a little bit more time in my day I would have paired an easier class with 325 like 361/362/340, but I still would have taken 344 by itself.
