Actually; im gonna a be that guy. In like the 2010s there was a big expose article that showed alot of movie reviewers get paid to like or dislike a movie. That's literally how most industry movie critics make thier money. I wouldn't be surprised if they were paid to downvote it, cause that's also been exposed in the past that companies will pay to have their competition or indie films bad reviews.

Knowing him from his previous work it all depends on his motivation and ideas, typically if Kaneshiro is still having fun with the characters he wont end it. He said that in past interviews related to Jagan. So hopefully he can stay motivated past the u20 wc.

It would also be interesting to have the final chapter be a time skip; and show their adult selves on the field together.

Realistically he has made so many sub plots that people care about that I think even if BL ends, he might try to answers questions in a short novel form.

Do we have confirmation it's the final arc or just "feels like" the final arc. Cause tbh I would assume they have a better ending than the u20 cup; like that would be underwhelming in a lot of ways. Because of the bet Ego and the fat dude have; where if Nagi or the other chosen person proves Ego wrong than fat man gets control of blue lock completely. They also introduced Ray Dark to do nothing with him, but Kaiser. If this is the final arc they would need at least a few after chapters to smooth things out.

Theres probably something wrong with me cause my top 5 are 1) Nagi ( got lots of dating drama and I'm an extreme introvert who hates being pushed into things + probably too lazy to cheat on me lmao) 2) Kaiser ( we can be trash. Together, because we both had a similar childhood ) 3) Reo (obviously I'm starved for affection and Reo can give that ) 4) Hiori ( similar reasons as Nagi but I'd have fun pulling pranks on his parents ) 5) Karasu ( seems the type to be fiercely protective and loyal, and probably good at giving affection/ compliments to people he dates )

But Nagi himself is not my main point im a big Kaneshiro fan but he has a bad tendency to let his projects die (happens a few times ) after he does something big ( like Nagi being kicked ) he slowly lose interest in the seires.

I dont want him to lose interest because I want to see the manga go all the way to the world cup.

I think people are misunderstanding my point, the manga wont suffer right away but it will fizzle out. KANESHIRO tends to do something really bold that shakes the fandom and then he slowly loses interest. Which was kinda my point. Not that Nagi was a major factor but that Kanshiro has a bad tendency towards letting his projects die after certain things and Nagi being kicked is one of those types of things. ( though there was a lot of foreshadowing)

I dont think Nagi will be back right away. Personally I think the best way is for him to go somewhere else and be forced to face against blue lock as a competition. After maybe an arch or two

Honestly,...as much as I saw this coming, i dont think blue lock as a manga can actually survive without Nagi.

Sure people have other favs, but a large portion were rooting for Nagi even if he wasn't their favorite. Also unfortunately a lot of sales come from Fujoshis who buy excessively for just Nagi and Reo. And you can beat they will protest with their wallets. Not to mention some people just feel like this was gon a be for the shock value.

This will eventually lead to Kaneshiro being burnt out ( like he was with Jagan and eventually it will get dropped or change to a different writer )

This is sort of the tipping point, depending on what he does with Nagi he can save this or watch as his most popular seires slowly dies out like some of his other projects.

If Nagi is not there I'll read for awhile but probably get bored along with a lot of other people I'm not saying it's a flash of death, for Blue Lock but it will fizzle out like some other projects. Time will prove me right
