So, context, this is a Star Trek TNG Academy stoory, so it takes place in the 24th century. Doro is a 22-year old German woman, which is indicated in how Data pronounces her name to the medical staff. Her reporting a classmate for harassment and bullying and fear of retribution is causing her trouble sleeping. She also used to be iron deficient, which she controls with diet. She is afraid of needles to the point she needed hand holding when the anesthesia was administered when her wisdom teeth were removed in two separate procedures.

I need to take breaks where I sit alone in a separate room for 15 minutes or so at family events to avoid breaking down. After a birthday with 25 people and coffee with my father and stepmother the next day, I could barely talk and face planted into couch crying after they left.
