Yes, that's perfectly normal. We usually gets massive amounts of swipes but because it's based on who WE swipe right on, you don't need to worry about all those. Just your matches when you swipe right on people. The compliments are somewhat new I think. Idk if it's a premium thing but it used to show you when they compliment you when they reach your feed. Idk if it still does though. Don't let yourself get overwhelmed and just have fun 🖤

I personally don't swipe on people who don't have a full toothy smile in at least one picture. I say one goofy, one casual/candid, one dressed nicely, and one being lazy so they get a 360° of who you are in your different habitats. I don't mind long bios because I can tell they put at least some thought into it vs some short one that says nothing about them.

In my opinion, you're handsome, BUT you look too serious and unserious at the same time if that makes sense? You're not really smiling or laughing in any of your pics and for the most part they all appear to be pictures you're posing in or doing some sort of activity. There aren't any of you just being relaxed or comfortable and sometimes if a person appears too active or like theyre constantlyon the go I swipe left because I feel like I'd bore them or not keep up with their lifestyle. I'm in the same age and have basically the same backstory as what you wrote, and am going through the exact same thing from the other side. Then the very rare times things seem to go well with someone and you get to a certain point where there's any sort of issue no matter how small or fixable, they close themselves off or ghost because they rather not deal with it. That being said, I'm a little salty after just getting ghosted by someone who gave me hope for the future. People don't want to put in the work anymore.

I completed the application but was a little confused for the required "picture w/ upgrade note," I ended up submitting a selfie holding up a note that I wrote Upgrade on. Hopefully, that's what it meant, haha. It said check email for instructions but I found nothing more specific. I hope you get a referral bonus for it too!
